CELLINK Bioink

CELLINK was developed as the first universal bioink for utilization in any 3D bioprinting system and with any cell type. Combining the advantages of a shear thinning nano-fibrillar cellulose and the versatility of alginate, CELLINK is the most consistently printing bioink available. Both components are derived from natural sources and under stringent quality control and assurance procedures, ensuring excellent consistency within and across your research experiments. Beyond the excellent printability and cell viability, the bioink can be readily modified to contain a myriad of peptides and growth factors. Contact us for more information!

Printability data

The chart to the right presents expected filament diameters versus translation rate and applied pressures for CELLINK Bioink at room temperature. These measurements were performed using a 22 gauge conical nozzle. This data should be used as a starting point for calibration of the material within your system. Layer height is equal to the nozzle diameter.

Here are example prints of parallel lines of CELLINK Bioink using a 22 G nozzle. The pressure was held constant while the translation rate was increased from 100 mm/min to 1000 mm/min left to right. Faster translation rates are recommended for more uniform lines. Pressure must be balanced with translation rate. Please contact us at support@cellink.com and we will be happy to help!

CELLINK RGD
CELLINK RGD is an enhanced composition of our universal CELLINK bioink.
This bioink contains a covalently conjugated L-Arginine-Glycine-L-Aspartic Acid peptide sequence, also known as RGD while also maintaining an excellent printability similar to the CELLINK bioink. This peptide sequence is derived from fibronectin and is the most commonly recognized sequence by cells for adhesion. RGD has wide applicability in the engineering of nearly every tissue. The sequence has also been utilized for the surfacing of implants such as bone and vascular implants to improve integration within the body. Accelerate your research today with CELLINK RGD! Our ready to print formulations come in several different RGD concentrations, inquire today!

CELLINK Support
CELLINK Thickener is our novel blend of nanofibrillar cellulose that is both ready to print as a support or sacrificial structure or as a thickener agent for your own custom bioinks. Development of novel and specialized bioinks is critical for the advancement of the bioprinting field as a whole. It is critical that as many biomaterials can be utilized as bioinks. Difficulty exists in adapting existing biomaterials toward printable bioinks. We provide CELLINK Thickener as a ready to blend composition. Using a CELLMIXER kit, one can rapidly thicken their own bioink compositions or materials to improve their printability. Make the jump from 2D cell culture or 3D cell culture to bioprinting! Use CELLINK Thickener to develop your own bioinks today!
