Support Series

CELLINK® Support Series is the sacrificial bioink and support kits to help you print with higher complexity. And it can help you with all kinds of challenges in the research field, including test and evaluate construct geometries, generate conduits and channels within your constructs, print thermopolymers and many more. CELLINK® Support Series is non-toxic and cytocompatible and can be utilized in conjugation with a wide range of bioinks.

CELLINK® SUPPORT

CELLINK® Support is our novel blend of nanofibrillar cellulose that is both ready to print as a support or sacrificial structure or as a thickener agent for your own custom bioinks. Difficulty exists in adapting existing biomaterials toward printable bioinks. We provide CELLINK® Support as a ready to blend composition to help you solve those problems.

CELLINK® PLURONICS

If you need to generate conduits and channels within your constructs look no further than CELLINK® Pluronics. CELLINK® Pluronics has excellent printability at room temperature and above, guaranteed to form continuous and small diameter filaments under the recommended printing conditions. Its excellent shape fidelity at warm temperatures make CELLINK Pluronics perfect for the fabrication of model vascularized tissues and microfluidic devices as it can be combined bioinks that may require slight warming such as GelMA or encapsulated post printing with cell containing biomaterials such as alginate, gelatin, GelMA, collagen, and fibrin where warming is necessary to accelerate gel formation. Simplify briefly cool down the construct and perfuse with cooled media and you are ready to culture your channel containing materials!

 

CELLINK® START

Our revolutionary polyethylene oxide blend has been developed into an excellent bioink. This composition, known as CELLINK® Start is easy to print and handle, allowing users to rapidly test and evaluate construct geometries. Additionally, this bioink is ideal as a support material in structures such large tubular structures or constructs with complex geometries such as overhands or other shapes. Simply dissolve away the CELLINK® Start in an aqueous environment to remove it from the construct. CELLINK® Start is a water soluble gel used as a sacrificial material when bioprinting cell-laden constructs with bioinks having poor shape fidelity or to prevent sagging of bioink filament and thus, bioprint constructs with porosity along all three axes. CELLINK Start is printed at room temperature and easily dissolves away when washing with culture media (after gelation of cell-laden bioink) – making it an easy to use sacrificial material.You can also print all your complex structures with CELLINK® Start and ensure that they look the way they should prior to printing with human cells. It’s the perfect start for all your bioprinting experiments.

CELLINK START X
CELLINK® START X is our second generation of our CELLINK Start bioink which now has the ability to be cross-linked under UV light. CELLINK® START X prints well through a wide range of nozzle shapes and diameters. This bioink can be utilized both for evaluation of construct geometry and for education and training purposes. CELLINK® START X additionally can be utilized as long lasting bioink for structural support, as a soft surface for bioprinting, components in perfusible organ-on-a-chip, and for educational purposes as permanent models with tailorable mechanical characteristics.
