CELLINK is the first Bioink company in the world and a global leader and expert in 3D Bioprinting. The company develops bioprinting technology that enable scientists to 3D Bioprint human tissues and organs and new biomaterial solutions for researchers worldwide. This can be utilized in a wide range of targets in the biotech field, including tissue engineering, cancer research, disease models and drug testing. Our goal and focus are to ensure that researchers are provided with the tools they need to revolutionize the medical industry through 3D Bioprinting. CELLINK Internship Program

One of our core beliefs at CELLINK is that education will play a key role in the advancement of the 3D Bioprinting field and its contribution to the future of medicine. After all, the students of today are the scientists of tomorrow. Therefore, we have created our program The CELLINK Internship Program for the Future. This is a program for driven individuals with a burning desire to change the future through bioprinting. This program will accommodate ambitious individuals and provide them with excellent training in the cutting-edge field of 3D Bioprinting technology.

The Program

Information about the Program

Positions will be available during the Spring, Summer and the Fall.

  • Spring: positions are available to accommodate candidates for at least 6 months.
  • Summer: positions are available to accommodate candidates for 3 months.
  • Fall: positions are available to accommodate candidates for at least 6 months.

Software Development Team

The software development team at CELLINK develops all the software and applications our users need to do their experiments. We are an agile and user-focused team where the customer is in focus. The current open projects are

  • Slicing software, a software for converting 3D models to a printing path. There are several software on the market but none of them are optimized for 3D Bioprinting. This project starts Summer 2018
  • Automated testing, a project with the aim of making all our software tested before launched using the latest testing techniques. The program is focused on unit testing, integration testing, hardware in the loop and continuous integration. This project starts all three periods.


Bioink and Tissue Engineering R&D Team

The Bioink and Tissue Engineering(BITE) team at CELLINK aims to continue developing innovative and high-quality bioinks for the 3D Bioprinting community as well as the growing 3D cell culture community. The focus is to provide the tools that will lead to the advancement of the field and contribute to the future of medicine. The team develops and optimizes bioinks that can be used for bioprinting. Positions will be available in:

  • As Quality Analyst Intern in the Bioink Production Team, you will utilize existing QC test of final products as well as help improve them and develop new methods for testing final products
  • As a Quality Controller Intern in the Bioink Production Team, you will be in charge of testing bioink raw materials, ingredients and reagents, follow and improve in-process controls throughout the production process and testing of the final products.
  • As a Bioink Production Engineer in the Bioink Production Team, you will learn the art of producing high-quality bioinks. Special attention to detail and precision is required for this role.
